The BBC have just launched a new website designed to assist adults to learn skills for everyday life.The site can be found here:http://www.bbc.co.uk/raw/
The branch also has a small supply of 'quick read' books for loan. 'Quick read' is a scheme designed to encourage people to start reading as the books are fairly short and so aren't too off putting. They may also be of interest to those people who do enjoy reading and would like to borrow one to read during their breaks.
